4 This command is used to manage the client's modes on the channel.
5 Most of the modes require that the client which changes some
6 client's mode must be channel founder or channel operator. The
7 mode is added by adding + before the option(s) and removed by
8 adding - before the option(s). The following channel user modes
11 a <nickname>[@<server>]
13 Set/unset all modes (cannot be used to set
14 both founder and operator rights, can be used
15 only to remove both modes at once).
17 f <nickname>[@<server>] [-pubkey|<password>]
19 Set/Unset channel founder. If the -pubkey
20 option or <password> is provided then the
21 client is claiming the founder rights by
22 providing the channel founder authentication
23 data. If the -pubkey is provided then the
24 authentication is performed using the
25 client's public key. If you are channel
26 founder you can set the channel founder
27 authentication using CMODE command.
29 o <nickname>[@<server>]
31 Set/unset channel operator. Requires that
32 you are channel operator or channel founder.
